873.2K51 is a high-quality 2K acrylic primer based on ST (Solid Thinner) technology, providing professional application with performance comparable to HS primers. Available in white (code 873.1151) and black (code 873.2251).
This versatile primer can be used in different ways depending on repair or painting needs:
Filling Primer – 5:1 mix, layer thickness 80 µm
Standard Primer – 5:1:0.5 mix, layer thickness 60 µm
Sealer – 5:1:1 mix, layer thickness 35 µm
Tintable Primer – mixed with 10% of series 900 toners for easy color adjustment
873.2K51 has excellent adhesion to metal, but for maximum corrosion protection, it is recommended to apply it over anti-corrosion primers (such as 868 or 880).
The primer is compatible with all types of automotive paints:
NC paints (e.g., series 407)
Acrylic paints (807, 907, 910)
Water-based paints (HYDROPAL 120)
