Description:

High-quality water repellent joint for filling joints in faience tiles, terracotta, granite and stone. Designed to fill joints up to 10 mm. in interior and exterior. Resistant to mold, available 24 colors. Dilute with 640 ml. water.

 

Surface application

High-quality, waterproofing compound used for jointing in ceramic and glass tiles. The product is also used for jointing natural and artificial stone slabs. For vertical and horizontal surfaces. Resistant to mold and excellent wear resistance. Designed for joints (1-10 mm wide) for internal and external use. BKFugomal is available in 24 colors.

Application

The surface to which BK-Fugomal is applied must be extremely dry. The drying-to-grouting time for standard cement adhesives under normal conditions (T = + 23-25 ​​ºC, relative humidity = 50-60%) is at least 48 hours (for wall tiles) and 7 days (for floor tiles with standard size). Large tiles dry more slowly. If the glue is not dry enough, it is possible for the fungi to partially change its color.
Prior to grouting, the grout must be cleaned of glue or dust remaining. When it comes to highly absorbent tiles and when working at high temperatures, it is recommended to first soak the funnel. Start joining after the base is dry (without water on the base).

Dilution

The preparation of the mixture is carried out by slowly adding the powder in about 28% water (about 560 ml of water per 2 kg of powder), with constant stirring by means of an electric mixer until the mass is completely homogenized.

Drying time

Under normal conditions, it takes 7 days for surface drying to be fully functional.
