Description:

Decorative plaster VELARIO for interior. Forms a velvety finish layer based on acrylic copolymer binder. When applied with a trowel, it gives a velvety (velour) effect to the surface.
Color: Silver - can be colored using a tinting system.
Consumption: 3-4 m²/l
Drying time: Dry to the touch: 3-4 hours / Completely dry: 24 hours
Dilution: Ready to use (do not dilute).

CHARACTERISTICS
Gives a velvety appearance to the treated surface. Water-based decorative plaster and an environmentally friendly product. It is characterized by high vapor permeability and easy cleaning by wiping.

AREA OF APPLICATION
After cleaning and preparing the surface, the decorative plaster - VELARIO can be applied to old painted surfaces, concrete, gypsum, cement plaster, cement boards and wooden surfaces.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Preparation and application for uneven or old crumbling coatings:
1. The surface must be thoroughly cleaned of dust, grease or other dirt.
All old crumbling or unstable coatings must be completely removed.
2. Application of a concrete contact type primer to strengthen the base, for better adhesion and to ensure a more stable surface for subsequent coatings.
3. Leveling with fine polymer putty, if necessary. In case of irregularities, cracks or other defects on the surface after priming, they must be filled and leveled to achieve an even and smooth surface.
4. Sanding the putty to obtain a smooth coating. After the putty is completely dry, the surface is sanded with a sanding machine or sandpaper with a coarseness depending on the nerves. The sanding dust must be cleaned.
5. Applying a primer for decorative plasters. On the sanded and cleaned surface for a stronger base and good adhesion, a fine primer for decorative plaster is applied, white or pre-colored, depending on the requirements for the final color and coverage. It is recommended to color the primer in the same color as the plaster to achieve better results.
6. Applying the decorative plaster. After the primer has dried on a smooth surface without defects, the decorative plaster - VELARIO can be applied.

Preparation and application on a solid and even surface:

1. Application of a fine primer for decorative plasters, white or pre-colored, depending on the requirements for the final color and coverage. It is recommended to color the primer in the same color as the plaster to achieve better results.
2. After the primer has dried, the final application of the decorative plaster - VELARIO is carried out.

APPLICATION
The first layer of decorative plaster is applied evenly with a trowel.
After the first layer has dried, the second layer of decorative plaster can be applied, again with a trowel. When applying the second layer, to create decorative effects, they must be shaped with a brush. After shaping the desired decorative effects, the surface must be smoothed again with a trowel, using asymmetrical movements.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
Before use, the plaster must be stirred well until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
It is applied at a temperature of +5°C to +35°C.
The surfaces must be dry and clean. The application is carried out according to the application information on the label.
The treated surfaces must be protected from mechanical impacts for 3 days, and from rain, snow, frost or high temperatures for 24 hours. After each application, clean the brushes, rollers and tools with water.
