Single-component polyurethane primer for subfloors preparation - PRYMER PUB 77

product_code:

Description:

PRYMER PUB 77 is a one-component product and solution of special hydro-bitumen resins designed to create a vapor barrier and to strengthen dusty and loose surfaces. It is also suitable as a catalyst for adhesion of anhydride bases.

Features:

Mixing ratio: single component
Application temperature: + 10 ° C ÷ + 25 ° C
Application: roller № 8 / brush
Dilution: DMC 50 diluent (if necessary)
Consumption: 300-600 g / m² depending on the base and use
Shelf life: 1 year in tightly closed packing at storage temperature from + 10 ° C to + 25 ° C
Packing: 5 l, 12.5 l
Cleaning of tools: DNE thinner

Use:

Vapor barrier: The base to be treated is completely cleaned by traces of oil, grease, wax or paint stains. Apply for the first layer of PRYMER PUB 77 diluted with 30% diluent DMC 50. After 4 hours apply as a second layer PRYMER PUB 77 diluted with 20% of DMC 50 diluent. After 24 hours, apply as a third layer PRYMER PUB 77 diluted with 10% DMC diluent 50 or without thinning it, depending on the permeability of the base. Only ADESIVER 501 EP, ADESIVER HERCULES, ADESIVER 164 PUR, UNISIL (at least 24 hours after the last application of PRYMER PUB 77) can be used on PRYMER PUB 77 when there is no longer any smell.

Recovering weak or loose bases: Apply only one layer of PRYMER PUB 77 diluted with 30% -50% DMC 50 diluent. In case of 50% dilution and on very loose bases, parquet application can be done using glue of the type PARKETTKOLL (see technical information).

Adhesive Catalyst for anhydride bases: Wipe the anhydride base gently with a coarse sandpaper until you get a white powder. Clean the surface with a vacuum cleaner and apply one layer of PRYMER PUB 77 diluted with 30% DMC 50 thinner. Since the density and permeability of these anhydride bases are not always constant, let the user choose whether to apply one or two layers of PRYMER PUB 77 is indicated above. The time between the two layers should be at least 2 to 6 hours. In this case, the same parquet adhesives, which are mentioned in the "vapor barrier", can be used.
