2K Epoxy zinc-phosphate primer - (7+1) - Series: 55160

product_code: 55160

Description:

It is a two component, epoxy-polyamide resin based, high gloss primer with economic filling power. It provides excellent adhesion and corrosion performance on sheet, phosphated sheet and galvanized surfaces and has high yield value.

General Use:

Very good adhesion to the surface. Due to the high solids and yield strength, it can be applied in thick layers. It has high performance in terms of chemical resistance and anticorrosive properties. It provides acid and alkali resistance as well as high humidity. It is the primer layer of Epoxy and Acrylic paint system. Steel systems, medium and high-grade corrosive environments, bridges and shipyards in places such as throwing the appropriate thickness provides a long-lasting performance. Aluminum, galvanized and sheet metal surfaces perform perfectly.

Application

Weight of 21 kg paint 3 kg hardener, 7 parts paint, 1 part hardener should be mixed very well in the pot life (pot life) should be consumed within 10-12 hours. 85450 will be used as hardener. Wait 30 minutes before the mixture is applied. Thinning rate is 10-15% depending on the environment and weather conditions. Epoxy Primer prepares the surface for the top coat. It is used with high efficiency in interior spaces, it has the disadvantage of yellowing and chalking in exterior spaces. It is also preferred in terms of galvanized adhesion. In order for epoxy paint systems to exhibit very good physical and chemical resistance, the total paint thickness should not fall below 100-150 microns. As a topcoat, Epoxy topcoat is applied indoors. In cases where UV resistance is required, it is recommended to use 2K acrylic paint. Thinning with Epoxy thinner according to the equipment to be applied
