Description:

Alkyd resin based, air-drying, one-component anticorrosive primer containing anticorrosive pigments. Special form for electrostatic applications.

General Use

With its high filling power, it covers the surface well and prepares the ground suitable for Alkyd based topcoats. It is used on agricultural and iron and steel surfaces that protect against rust.. It is not suitable for use on surfaces that are exposed to long term and higher temperatures. Topcoat must be applied on it.

Application

It can be applied with roller, brush or by spraying. Thinned with electrostatic thinner. Primer is applied in 2 cross layers. Between coats, you must wait for 20 minutes. New steel: Abrasive blasting to minimum Sa 2 should be done. Maintenance: Remove oil and grease with suitable detergent or with cellulosic thinner. Remove salt and other contaminants by (high pressure) fresh water-air cleaning. All rust and loose material must be removed by abrasive blasting or power tool cleaning.
