2K Acrylic HS SMART varnish - Polaron-Acryl/C2 - HS Fast Cure SMART CLEAR COAT

product_code:P-Acryl/C2 clear-HS FC SMART

Description:

P-Acryl/C2 clear - HS Fast Cure SMART Clear coat is a two-component, fast-drying acrylic varnish, which is used as a transparent finishing sealing layer on an applied layer of metallic base paint. It is characterized by exceptionally high gloss, scratch resistance, weather resistance and resistance to fuel effects, i.e. the ability of acrylic varnish to not be damaged, dissolved, discolored or deteriorated when exposed to fuels such as gasoline, diesel, kerosene, etc. Acrylic varnish has excellent spreading and smooth surface formation. Acrylic varnish is used with acrylic fast hardener - P-HS FC SMART HARDENER. It is suitable for light and heavy vehicles. Although it dries quickly, it can be easily used for both partial and complete coating of vehicles, unlike other fast-drying varnishes. It has excellent spreading and smooth surface formation. P-Acryl/C2 HS Fast Cure Smart Clear Coat is an acrylic varnish which saves the painter time and energy and also reduces labor costs thanks to easy polishing with paste. At low temperatures, a maximum of 5% of fast acrylic thinner - Polaron T 8-18 Universal Thinner Fast can be added. Before applying the acrylic varnish, the surface must be thoroughly cleaned of dust and other contaminants. (It is recommended to use an antistatic (wax) cloth that cleans all types of surfaces after sanding, perfectly absorbing dust, dirt and other impurities from the surface to be varnished. After the surface of the base coat of paint is thoroughly cleaned, the acrylic varnish - P-Acryl/C2 HS Fast Cure Smart Clear Coat can be applied. Use appropriate respiratory protection (it is recommended to use a painter's full face mask - 3M™ 6900). Technical Specifications

The first coat must be applied carefully and quickly.
Mask/cover the vehicle with antistatic foil, paper or masking tape to avoid paint splashing on all parts that should not be painted (e.g. windows, moldings, headlights, etc.).
Sanding is necessary before applying a new coat to ensure good adhesion.
For dry sanding: sandpaper with grain size: P500
For wet sanding: sandpaper with grain size: P800
If polishing is necessary, for example to remove small dust particles that have fallen into the varnish during drying, it is recommended to do this between 1 and 24 hours after the specified drying time. The surface is sanded with sandpaper with grain size P1200, then with a fine sanding disc P1500. Then lightly dampen a 3M Trizact P3000 or similar disc with clean water and begin sanding the surface, making sure that any scratches from using the P1500 are completely removed.
