Description:

Two-component fine fiber polyester putty GLAS MICRO reinforced with short glass fibers, which in combination with elastic polyester resins provide high mechanical strength and excellent elasticity. Compared to GLAS fiber putty, it is significantly more flexible and easy to process, which makes it suitable for application on large surfaces. The product is applied and shaped quickly and conveniently, while providing a strong structure and reliable damage repair. Thanks to its high adhesion, GLAS MICRO bonds perfectly to various types of substrates, including steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, polyester laminates, two-component acrylic putties, old paints and epoxy primers.

 

FEATURES

The polyester putty GLAS MICRO is reinforced with short glass fibers and is developed on the basis of elastic polyester resins, which gives it extremely high mechanical strength and makes it significantly more elastic than the polyester putty GLAS. Quick and easy processing, which allows application on large surfaces. It is characterized by excellent adhesion to a wide range of materials, such as steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, polyester laminates, two-component acrylic putties, old varnish coatings and epoxy primers.

Caution: Do not apply directly onto primers, single-component acrylic or nitrocellulose products.

MIXING RATIO

Putty Glas Micro: 100 parts
Hardener: 2-3 parts

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Before application, carefully stir and mix the components, observing the exact ratio of the hardener, stir until the mixture acquires a uniform color. Apply a layer with a spatula up to 5 mm thick, if necessary leveling each applied layer with other RANAL polyester putties.
Caution: do not use the product at temperatures below +10°C.

DRYING TIME

About 20 minutes at 20°C. The drying time can be shortened if a temperature of 60°C is maintained for about 10 minutes.
