CHARACTERISTICS
A paste-like, glossy decorative plaster with high coverage, thanks to its flexible structure, it does not crack, an ecological water-based product with high vapor permeability.

AREA OF APPLICATION
After cleaning and preparing the surface, the decorative plaster - TRAVERTINO can be applied to old painted surfaces, concrete, gypsum, cement plaster, cement boards and wooden surfaces.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Preparation and application for uneven or old crumbling coatings:
1. The surface must be thoroughly cleaned of dust, grease or other dirt.
All old crumbling or unstable coatings must be completely removed.
2. Application of a contact primer to strengthen the base, for better adhesion and to ensure a more stable surface for subsequent coatings.
3. Leveling with fine polymer putty, if necessary. In case of irregularities, cracks or other defects on the surface after priming, they must be filled and leveled to achieve an even and smooth surface. On smooth surfaces, it can be applied without putty, the consumption increases but the use of putty is saved.
4. Sanding the putty to obtain a smooth coating. After the putty is completely dry, the surface is sanded with suitable sandpaper or a grinder. The sanding dust must be removed.
5. Applying a primer for decorative plasters. On the sanded and cleaned surface, for a stronger base and good adhesion, a primer for decorative plaster is applied, white or pre-colored, depending on the requirements for the final color and coverage. If desired, the primer can be colored in the color of the plaster, but it is not mandatory.
6. Applying the decorative plaster. After the primer has dried on a smooth surface without defects, the decorative plaster can be applied.

Preparation and application on a solid and even surface:
1. Applying a primer for decorative plaster, white or pre-colored, depending on the requirements for the final color and coverage. If desired, the primer can be colored in the color of the plaster, but it is not mandatory.
2. After the primer has dried, the final application of the decorative plaster is carried out.

APPLICATION
Stir well before use until a homogeneous mixture. The ready-to-use product is applied without dilution. The decorative plaster is applied in at least two layers on a primed
surface. It is applied with a trowel or spatula. The interval between layers must be at least 6 hours. When applying the second layer, the desired patterns and effects are given with tools such as a trowel, sponge, comb, etc. When applying a second layer on a wet base, the decorative effects are created mainly with a "grass" type trowel, but it can also be done with a standard trowel. After shaping the patterns, while the surface is half-dry, it is smoothed with a trowel. With a completely dry layer, the effect is not obtained and slight moistening is necessary. After shaping the pattern and its complete drying, a finishing color is applied - matte or satin, with varying degrees of gloss and in different colors. The main color can be emphasized by wiping with a wet sponge, which produces dark and light shades. When applying an additional color, a wiping technique can also be applied, which gives light and dark shades.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
Before use, the plaster must be mixed well until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
It is applied at a temperature of +5°C to +35°C.
The surfaces must be dry and clean. Application is carried out according to the application information on the label.
Treated surfaces must be protected from mechanical impact for 3 days and from rain, snow, frost or high temperatures for 24 hours.
After each application, clean brushes, rollers and tools with water.
