Adhesive and cement based polymer-cement base, designed for adhering polystyrene boards (EPS) to various mineral substrates and for leveling the entire surface of the façade. BK-StirolFix 1 is used as the base layer, i. reinforces bonding with the Bekatherm standard thermal insulation system.

The base to which the product is to be applied must be solid, clean and dry, free of greasy stains, etc. Suitable bases are all concrete-lime surfaces (at least one month), concrete surfaces (at least two months), brick walls, aerated concrete walls, etc. Fill large cavities and leveling on larger layers with a BK-Mal 220 plaster rather than an adhesive (deviation of a façade surface from the vertical plane, max ± 1 cm / three meters). Thick overlay of the adhesive results in cracking and displacement of the styrofoam, which is reflected as cracks in the last layer of the thermal insulation system. Smooth or poorly absorbent concrete should be covered with BK Beton Contact one day before the present plaster. For new brick walls it is not necessary to use primer. When laying tiles on aerated concrete walls, BK-Nivelator priming is recommended according to the instructions given.

The drying time for the adhesive under normal conditions (T = +23-25 ​​°C, relative humidity of the air = 50-60%) is 48 hours.

The mixture is obtained by slowly adding it in powder form and approximately 26-28% water (6.5-7 l of water per 25 kg of powder) under constant stirring with an electric stirrer until it is completely homogenized.
