Rapid Hammerton Paint could be used with or without a primer. As it renders irregular surfaces the appearance of hammered down metal, there is no need to prepare an expensive and high quality basic surface. However, it is recommended to apply one coat of anti-rust primer to protect the surfaces against corrosion. Asboya Rapid Hammerton Industrial Paint is only applied through the spray method. The application viscosity and spray pressure play important roles and the desired large patterns could be obtained by applying the paint denser than other finishing coat paints with a lower pressure and in thicker coats.
