Описание:

Nylum is a new interior decoration in Candis’ Antiche Terre Fiorentine decorative range and belongs to the Le Preziose family. Nylum is completely formulated using water-based chemicals. It is environmentally friendly, made up of selected raw materials and is offered in a unique neutral base, which can be supplemented by a series of Candis colour toners.

Candis, with Nylum, aims to offer the market and the end user a decorative product that keeps with modern trends, favouring natural, warm and enveloping colours, blended together for a classic effect where the colour and elegant shades create a sophisticated overlapping effect

Nylum is a decorative product for interiors and is suitable for application on smooth walls. It is not suitable on rough and bumpy surfaces. Applying the decorative product cyclically entails, in the first instance, applying two coats of the chosen Perlescente base coat ( Livorno, Arezzo, Lucca, Pisa, Siena, Grosseto ). When dry, apply two coats of the Nylum decorative product, using the a candis brush. The Perlescente base coat as described is applied using a brush, a wool roller, or a spray gun with a suitable compressor. We recommend applying two coats, the first with 20-25% water dilution and the second with 15-20% water dilution.

The colours and effect are indicative ( regarding the wall ); there are different application conditions than the catalogue page as a result of different absorption, amount of product applied and skill and creativity of the person applying it. We recommend conducting a small test before starting work. Furthermore, we recommend mixing any different batches of product after colouring and before application. We recommend adhering to the yield/m² indicated in the catalogue in order to avoid variations in the hue ( lighter or darker final colour ) resulting from greater or lesser quantities of product deposited on the wall. Nylum is a semi-transparent decorative product, so greater or lesser quantities applied to the wall ( covering or uncovering the underlying base coat ) will affect the colour yield of the final decorative result. Consequently, as stated, the catalogue shows the colour and the decorative appearance that can be achieved by the product and not all possible variables due to the very nature of the decoration. Therefore, the Nylum catalogue is for illustrative purposes only and does not contain all possible shades of the colour and designs that can be obtained in the application. Furthmore, as Nylum is semi-transparent and not thick, it will not cover any potential imperfections on the wall to be decorated, so possible traces, marks, bumps and dimples or depressions that are on the wall will not be covered  by applying Nylum. Therefore, we recommend a thorough assessment of the state of preservation of the wall to be decorated before starting the application cycle, if necessary preparing it beforehand to make the wall look as smooth and even as possible.

Candis strongly recommends using its own-brand base coats for preparation as it considers these the best for enhancing the appearance, as well as being compatible with the products for the different application coats. In the event that this is not the case, Candis shall not be held liable for any work with poor results.

Apply two coats of Nylum decorative product using a Candis brush, making sure the first coat is completely dry before applying the second. The catalogue shows, by way of illustration, the decorative possibilities for the Nylum product. The decorative effects presented are achieved by first selecting and applying the Perlescente base coat that corresponds to the desired Nylum colour. Then, when the base coat applied to the wall is completely dried, prepare and apply the Nylum decoration. Proceed to add to the 2.5 litre neutral Nylum base, depending on the desired final colour , 1 toner or ¼ of toner ( see writing below the colour reference ) of the Candis colouring toners. To further customize the decorative effect, the catalogue also offers the possibility of adding the Oro Nylum toner. This allows you to achieve a decoration that will combine the appearance of a deep tone with the colour overlapping with attractive shades of bright gold. The references shown in the catalogue are obtained by adding 1 or ¼ of colouring toner ( depending on the  chosen tone ) to 2.5 litres of neutral Nylum base. The addition of toner Oro Nylum is in the proportion of 1 Oro toner per 2.5 litres of neutral Nylum base. After adding the toner in the 2.5 litre neutral Nylum base, following suitable manual or mechanical mixing ( with stirrer at medium speed for 3 minutes, or with a propeller drill at low speed for 1 minute ), the color will be perfectly blended and the decorative product will be ready to be applied to the wall. Before proceeding with the Nylum decoration, make sure the Perlescente base coat that was previously applied to the wall is dry. Then apply the Nylum decorative product using the plastic Candis trowel or steel trowel, taking care to work with the tool to form an angle of about 45° between the tool and the wall, at the same time exert moderate pressure so that the colour and components that form the product can be well blended and distributed, thus creating the design and decoration on the wall.
